At Germanton Baptist, one of our Core Values is generosity. We want to be a generous church that seeks to sacrificially give of our time, money, and resources. We believe that giving is a heart issue.

God's Word actually says a lot about giving and those who give. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 calls God's people to be generous and cheerful in their giving. Mark 12:41-44 teaches us that the most important aspect of giving is the heart behind the giving. Mark 10 also teaches us about the dangers of making money an idol in our lives. Proverbs also shares a lot about the foolishness and slavery of going into debt.

At GBC, we want to meet people where they are, even on issues of giving. We want to encourage our members to give, knowing that the money given goes to fulfill the mission of the church. We believe one of the ways we can meet people where they are is by making giving simple. GBC now offers online giving, which allows our members to set up an account through Tithe.ly and give both one time gifts and recurring gifts.

Signing up for Online Giving is simple. First, click on the Give button above. You will be taken to a page called Tithe.ly where you can securely set up your giving account. You will need to input a valid email address and make up a secure password of at least 8 characters. You will then be taken to a page where you can type in "Germanton Baptist Church" and select our church as where your giving will go.

 

Once you select "Germanton Baptist Church," you have the option to pay through your debit card or one of your banking accounts.
